“Man is never alone. Acknowledged or unacknowledged, that which dreams through him is always there to support him from within.” ~Laurence Van der Post
Your inherent power
An often overlooked element of your inherent power lies in your ability to dream. To freely and unapologetically visualize what you want for your life.
Mental creation always precedes physical creation. Therefore, you must dare to dream. For what matters is not the dream but its significance.
Ignite the dream – Imagine the future you desire. Envision the life that brings purpose to your spirit.
Believe the dream – Believe that what you want is possible. Repeat it daily. Visualize it. Walk through its corridors and get a feel for it.
Share the dream – This has two benefits. It creates external accountability. And people who share in it, reinforce your thinking and belief that you can achieve it.
Create the plan – Break the dream into small, workable elements. Create a working schedule to ensure successful progression through the various elements.
Do the work – Once you’ve dared to dream, dare to do. Dare to create through your actions that which you had the courage to create in your dreams.
Persevere – You will want to quit. Don’t. You will want to dream a smaller dream. Don’t. You will want to believe that it can’t be done. Don’t. Don’t let momentary failure get or keep you down. Think like a root and dig deep. Keep going. Keep progressing.
